Sooshi – All About Sushi App revisa

Sooshi is a great application for those unfamiliar with the meal and what it requires in order to get the best results. The app is designed to educate users on the different types of sooshi, the preparation methods to use as well as the closest restaurants that serve the dish. The app also has a nice minimalist design with dark and bright color backgrounds which fit in with one's idea of the places that serve the dish.

Unfortunately seems to not really offer an easy to use method of bringing up locations. Perhaps it’s only useful for those in Japan?

I don't know why Google Places is the only location service this app uses, but it seems it is. The restaurant guide opens in Tokyo, and cannot be budged off. I don't know what the issue is, but it makes the guide useless, unless I want something like Google Places. I don't. I don't think I should have to. I don't even know what it is. The content looks beautiful, but I went right for the guide to see what might be there, and well, no go. Not a very communicative app with the rest of the known universe...

Really nice app except the map/restaurant feature doesn’t work, too bad.

Have saved this app on my phone since I got it. Sometimes I'll open it up just to swipe around and look at the animations and UI.

Beautiful app (probably one of the most beautiful I've used on iOS), very informative (love the rice tutorial!).... Would have given 5 stars, but had problems with the restaurant finder. I live in Hammond, Indiana, and know for a fact that there's a few restaurants that serve and specialize in sushi in the area. The finder shows none. Bummer. Overall a great app.

Like I said, normally a beautiful 5 star app. However I can't use it as of late because it only seems to crash when I try and interact with the app in any way.. Please fix it and I'll change my rating back to 5 stars!!

This is one of the prettiest apps I've seen in the app store. Great content delivered in a beautiful package. Definitely worth paying for.

A prior app referred to a video, and complained, and I have to wonder if they are thinking of another app, as I cannot even find a video! Also, the content is plentiful. The graphics are stunning, the way the app is put together is so well thought out. Well done!!!! Why is THIS app not Featured in the App Store?! Outstanding. Thank you very much! One tiny point. Do scale your map to include nearest sushi locations. It showed none at first as I needed to scale out to show them. Terrific restaurant search otherwise!

This app is only slightly informative and doesn't provide anything more than a YouTube video would. The sushi bar finder is nice, but Urban Spoon will give you the same info for free. I was disappointed with the total content and expected more from the app. I was then doubly disgusted when I got a bill for the app over a week later, considering I was under the impression that it was free.

This app crashes whenever I tap anywhere! Waste of money!

Beautiful app, amazing features and introductions. Please update with more content, such as creating different types of sushi (inside out, rice balls) also please include more details about the ingredients and history of sushi. Thanks!

I rarely am so impressed with an app that I bother to review it, but this app deserves the praise! It is very well designed and constructed. I love it!

The UI is amazing and the content is spot on. I've recently gained interest in sushi and turned to this app. I am not disappointed! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about sushi.

Sushi addict, this is by far the most comprehensive on the subject. The app is the most beautiful iv ever seen, everything is on point. all I need is them to add eel to the list. Also, maybe add some new how to's like common creations and combinations ; California rolls, dragon rolls, rainbow rolls.

This app is well designed and an awesome experience to use.

I love this app but it could have more of a variety

And very helpful too, I've have wanted to make my own sushi for awhile now, but the task always seemed so daunting. This app is wonderful and so simple and elegant that I'm confident enough to try. I recommend it to anyone.

how could this be anything less than 5 stars. sushi is heavenly. this app is pretty zen. some ux changes could be made. definitely pretty designs tho.

It looks great. And that’s about it. Th content is lightweight and extremely incomplete. If you think sushi is the fish shown and the few other oddments, you’re missing out on real sushi. And it says flat out it is iPad compatible. Maybe it it is. But’ it’s been flagged to to refuse to load on the iPad. Graphics are probably the issue and I’d love to see this on an iPad. And unless you live in very specific place the restaurants section is simply not. OK in SFran although it misses as much as it catches. And it somehow thinks there’s no place around me in S FL. Whereas there are dozens if not hundreds of good sushi sources down here. Total waste of $1.99 UNLESS you’re brand new to sushi and you live in San Fran or NYC. And even there you’re better served by the junk that is Zagat.

I can't heap enough praise on what this very talented and dedicated developer has accomplished. Makes the experience of learning about the components of sushi and the process of making it as aesthetically pleasing as quality sushi itself. A welcome to treat for the senses that stands out as a standard to which more developers should strive. Incredible. Five stars.

A beautiful app that will grow both your appetite and appreciation for sushi.

I absolutely love sushi, hell I gained 20 pounds overeating sushi last year. It is a true delicacy of life and this app honors its sanctity. I'm sure other sushi lovers feel that this app does sushi justice in that its custom UI and beautiful interface captures the intense euphoria sushi brings us. Great app, well done. However, the Restaurants feature could be better because I live in an area with several great sushi restaurants but the app didn't display them.
